Manaaki Tangata

Manaaki Tangata wānanga cover knowledge and skills from a Te Ao Māori framework, to have an understanding around working with Māori whānanu and utilising early intervention strategies (to prevent crises such as self-harm and suicide) through practices that promote oranga (wellbeing) for whānau.

This course is for iwi, marae, non-government organisations, Hauora providers, Māori community networks, whānau champions and anyone wanting to engage in an effective and positive way with Māori individuals and whānau.

A basic level of Te Reo Māori competency is recommended.
